I was on a train! It was a divine journey! I had travelled far on this train, through rough terrain of doubt, loss, spiritual attacks, rejection, isolation, misunderstanding but there were always the valleys of peace and unbelievable joy, divine love, I thought no one else experienced like I had experienced travelling through that valley of light.
My journey was soon to come to an end and was to transit to the next train, the next part of my divine journey. Transition!!!! I strongly dislike ‘transition.’ I wanted so much to remain on the one train to reach my destiny’s completion. I had transited many times and found it noisy and confusing. The encouraging part was that there was always a light, angelic in nature, that guided me off the train and to the next platform where the connecting train was to depart.
My train arrived at the station; I reluctantly stepped off onto the platform. As I walked to the end of the platform, I turned and watched the train depart. A great sadness welled up inside me, I remembered the precious times I had with My Saviour, times of intimacy, times of joy and wondered what the future would hold. Would the battles be harder? Would I endure to fight another day? Would I grieve for what I felt I was losing?
The transit lounge was as I expected; loud, busy, confusing, lonely, a sea of strange faces all looking for destiny’s pathway, all looking for where they needed to be. I needed space, I needed a quiet place, I needed to find the platform from where I would depart for the next part of my journey, I found the information board of all the arrivals and departures. It was like Heaven central. Before I began to focus on the details on the board my eyes were attracted to a lit up, flashing sign above the board. It read, “Let not your heart be troubled!” “Love never fails!” I had become use to seeing things others didn’t see and wondered if anyone else could see it. I found the number of the platform to make my connection, it was the same as it always was, the number seven.
I struggled to arrive at the place I needed to be, so many people hustling and bustling all around, I wondered if it was a deliberate ploy of the enemy to wear me down. I felt overwhelmingly tired. I was in for a long wait. Many people used the benches to lie on and I found one. The noise and confusion remained in my head as I drifted off to see images of events from the last train journey and felt quite alone.
A strange thing happened; I was awakened by silence!! It was as if time stood still for just a moment; no noise, no hustle, no movement. It was a heavenly moment, enough time to see that angelic light that had always led me through transition to the next connection. In that moment, I could see the angel at the top of a very steep escalator, releasing the words, “Come on up, you are on the wrong level.” It was a little scary travelling up such a steep incline. I discarded the heavy backpack of things I thought I needed. I remembered that, with every transition, there was a new level to go to, this, however, was the steepest yet!
I felt a lightness. I once again I felt the Presence of the one I love so dearly and a new clarity in my mind because I knew His mind of endless love. The turmoil all around had ceased as I stepped into the carriage ready for destiny’s train to depart. This train travelled the heights, where the pristine air of the Holy Spirit filled the carriages, where His precious chosen ones were travelling. This was gold class rail! No fear!
This scripture came to mind (1 Corinthians 2;9)
“Eyes have not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” NKJV
“Things never discovered or heard of before,
things beyond your ability to imagine-
these are the many things He has instore for His lovers.” TPT
