When I was prayerfully asking the Lord what He wanted me to bring to the school, I came across this sentence, “I AM GENTLY TOUCHING THE FRAGILE PLACES AND WRAPPING THEM IN MY HEALING LOVE.” It really touched my heart for I have been feeling very fragile over the last few months. The dictionary expresses it in this way, “Easily broken or damaged; delicate, brittle or frail.” Hard to admit but when we do, Father God wraps us in His love and holds us close until we heal.
“May your tender love overwhelm me, O Lord, for you are my Saviour and you keep your promises.” Ps. 119:41
From time to time we all experience being fragile even when in leadership. The following is something I wrote from a vision. It is about transitioning from one level to a higher level and ministering to those who are very, very fragile.
I stood at the door to a China shop, I felt totally overwhelmed at the beauty but fragility of the pieces displayed before me. The aisle between each row was very narrow and the pieces needed to be dusted. I was almost too afraid to step into this new place, this new task, I was afraid I would bring damage to this fragile place. No matter how fragile these pieces were, they still managed to brilliantly reflect the glory of the sun as it shone into the darkened room. Each piece was so very different to the one next to it on the shelf. Each piece had brilliant colours to reflect and fill the space with. I learnt how to minister in this fragile place. I learned that the special fruit of the spirit was maturing within me, the fruit of gentleness. I moved very slowly and attended to each piece individually. I was so careful not to knock another piece while I was cleaning the one in front of me. I learned to love each piece for its uniqueness. Not one the same! At the back of the shop I found several piles of broken glass. I wept for I knew they had their beauty stolen and they would face the fires of the master glass maker to be reshaped and reformed into something even more beautiful. Sometimes pain is the way to a new glorious state at the hands of the Master.
So how do I bring healing to the fragile and the broken- VERY, VERY GENTLY, WRAPPED IN GOD’S HEALING LOVE!
There is a returning to the Fear of the Lord by those who love Him. The Fear of the Lord is a gift from our loving heavenly Father that protects us from departing from Jesus who is the source of our everlasting life, love, joy, peace, goodness, hope, and all its many wonders. The Lord Jesus is removing the weight of things we have prayed time and time again and have seen no results. The Holy Spirit wants to breathe afresh upon our life, releasing to us a new brilliance and understanding of what God is doing, of how He is working so we can see what our Father is doing and do it.
“My son/daughter, if you receive My Words, and treasure My Commands within you, so that your incline your ear to wisdom and apply your heart to understanding; yes, if you call out for discernment, and lift up your voice for understanding, if you seek her as silver and search for her as for hidden treasure; if you seek her as silver, and search for her as for hidden treasures; then you will understand the fear of the Lord.” Proverbs 2: 1-5
Trusting that you will all move to new depths of the awe and wonder of God, that you will be amazed at the discovery of who He is. God told Abraham that if he didn’t believe what He had promised, then go and count the stars and be in awe of who he is. GO COUNT THE STARS, sons and daughters of God Most High!
