To know our true identity in Christ we need to know His Spirit in our spirit.
“When the Spirit of Truth comes, He will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on His own, He will speak only what he hears and will tell you what is to come. He will bring glory to Me by taking from what is mine and making it known to you.” John 16:12-14
There are a billion lies told about the truth. The Holy Spirit lives within our spirit. We have the very spirit of God living within us with the seven appellations given to the Holy Spirit. These are Spirit of Truth, Spirit of Holiness, Spirit of Faith, Spirit of Wisdom, Spirit of Power, Spirit of Grace and Spirit of Glory.
With our ears of our spirit we hear what the Holy Spirit is saying to us. With our spiritual eyes we see what the Spirit is revealing to us. With the heart of our spirit we receive revelation from the heart of the Holy Spirit. We weep with Him when His heart is grieved. When people reject Him he grieves for them and for what they have lost. We are asked never to grieve the Holy Spirit of God. What happens when He is grieved? He leaves! We are sealed with the Holy Spirit when we are born again. Some will sing about him, some will talk of Him, some will gather in His name, do commendable deeds in His name and yet totally reject his Spirit.
We are invited to be the Bride of the Lamb but without enough oil of the Spirit we won’t make it. From deep within our spirit, rise up words and pictures form the Holy Spirit but our mind, emotions and free will determine how that is to be released. We need to have the Mind of Christ to bring forth what the Spirit is revealing to us in all its purity and not contaminated with our “soulish’ interpretations.
Jesus reminded us of all we are in Him and asked us to remember all that His death would bring forth in us. This was to be done by the taking of bread and wine for communion. The bread is his broken body, given for His Bride, the Body of Christ is one of those believers from the past, the present and the future. All one in Christ. The wine reminds us of the power, life. light and love that flows through His blood. This flows through our spiritual veins and will manifest in the physical.
The Holy Spirit leads us into ALL TRUTH. We carry His supernatural love, light, life and power to those who hunger for truth and for His Spirit.
