Shaken straight out of our comfort zone straight on to the frontline to be part of the chosen healers. Chosen for what they carry, His love, His hope, His salvation, His healing, His life.
Frontline, not a comfortable place, total reliance on Him. Accommodation is rough so we are ready to jump into action at any time. Constant rumblings and gunfire from the enemy. Sometimes direct hits, sometimes crossfire, sometimes not so friendly, ‘friendly’ fire. You expect to be under enemy fire and if wounded, you pray for each other but ‘friendly’ fire or fire from others of faith, is almost too hard to bear. It must break Jesus heart.
The wounded will land right in front of you, within a breath of annihilation! Where do you begin? All training, all conferences, all courses and studies of the bible do not adequately prepare you for what is in front of you. The extreme nature of the wounds, shock and the trauma is almost numbing. What do you do? This person in front of you is near spiritual death. What do you see the Father doing? You see Him loudly and clearly and with great certainty saying- “begin the infusion with a continual dripping of My love.” It has to go deep, deep into the spirit. How quickly the colour returns to the wounded. That small glint in their eye, gets brighter but as it does, haemorrhaging starts. It starts in one place and quickly spills into the next. One pain from trauma wells up and very quickly all the past becomes a flood. New wounds and old wounds are opening up. What do you do? You are on your own, fear grips your heart. You know fear doesn’t belong here. Tell it to leave with the authority of the Holy Spirit, the director of this hospital facility. Your heart becomes infused with His love once again and clarity comes. “Stem the blood flow of the wound and work on one at a time. You are dealing with excruciating pain from severe wounds. Allow Jesus to cleanse the wound and bind them up. He uses the hands of the front liners. What you hear coming from open wounds makes you weep but also makes anger for the enemy rise. ‘How dare he do this to God’s Children?”
When the life flowing from the wound is stemmed and stabilised, its time for that one to rest in the Father’s love. It time for the one who brought healing to rest also. When recovery begins and each patient bears the mark of multiple miracles, it is time to send them back from the front line, back to a safe environment where lovers of God can come around them, support their recovery and apply more surgery if needed. Love conquers all.
There is a time when the frontline healers need to return to a safe place to rest. To have surgery for the wounds inflicted on them by the enemy when they were attending to the wounded. To have His children surround them, encouraging, bringing words of love, healing old wounds that may have opened up while under enemy fire.
On the front line you are totally and utterly dependant on Father God. Pristine vision is constantly being restored as the Holy Spirit sends a gale force wind to remove the enemy’s smoke screen. Front liners always know when they have pristine vision for it comes with great detail.
Directional signpost are everywhere in front line hospitals. Placed there by those with personal agendas, those who can only function with strict programs, those who teach about healing in the comfort of safe environments and those with elite mindsets who feel they know the only way to heal. On the front line there is no time to read those signs nor remember those words. Emergency response must come directly from the Holy Spirit. Only those with clean hands and pure hearts will tread the corridors of front line hospitals for they will get messy. We need only God’s order in the mess. Holy Spirit invites you to continually bathe in the waters of life that flow freely, with great abundance, through the front line. All personal agendas, the fear driving you to run and hide and the intense drive to return to the comforts of life are all crucified. The ‘old man’ suffered a fatal blow on the front line and can’t be resurrected.
Rest is crucial for survival here so learn to rest in the depths of Jesus, along with His Glory which He places in us so that the front line remains His place of Glory.
