The Tide Turns

The veil of early morn lifts over the battle field. The stealth fighter planes, sleek and well camouflaged, have not rested in the still of the night. They come in waves, wave after wave they never stop. They continue to bomb the enemy day and night. Never ceasing! Never resting. For such are the numbers of brave hearts willing to take out the enemy in the final battle. The enemy is held up in the mountains, driven there by relentless fighting of God’s warrior hearts. The enemy hides in caves in the mountainous terrain. The bombers approach the caves from all directions and quickly pull up so as not to crash into the mountain or attract enemy fire. The enemy doesn’t know where they are coming from and has no time to pull back and reposition. Such is the impact the fighters are having. The enemy experiences being pinned down and relentlessly assaulted, for the tide is turning. Continue reading “The Tide Turns”

Frontline Hospitals

Shaken straight out of our comfort zone straight on to the frontline to be part of the chosen healers. Chosen for what they carry, His love, His hope, His salvation, His healing, His life.

Frontline, not a comfortable place, total reliance on Him. Accommodation is rough so we are ready to jump into action at any time. Constant rumblings and gunfire from the enemy. Sometimes direct hits, sometimes crossfire, sometimes not so friendly, ‘friendly’ fire. You expect to be under enemy fire and if wounded, you pray for each other but ‘friendly’ fire or fire from others of faith, is almost too hard to bear. It must break Jesus heart. God Is shaking Newcastle

God Is shaking Newcastle, both in the spiritual and in the physical. “….. and suddenly there came a great earth quake, so that the foundations of the prison house were shaken and immediately all the doors were open and everyone’s chains were unfastened.” (Acts16:26) All that was hidden will be spilled out into the open. Nothing hidden any more. Chains will be broken, secure places no longer safe, hidden places exposed. Continue reading “God Is shaking Newcastle”

Planted in Holy Ground

There was a special Gardener known for His love and caring of the forest. He was known for the gentle hands He used to tend to the trees. They were scarred by the nails of angry, hate filled people who nailed him to a tree in His beloved forest.

He had many specially chosen places in the forest. They were holy, set apart for His special ones, His chosen ones, the ones who bring His Words of love and hope and life. He prepared the soil, He nourished it and watered it with a special living water, placed a seed and covered it. Wild animals came and tried to dig it up, for they knew that the seed the gardener planted would only produce the strongest, most magnificent trees bearing fruit that could not be destroyed. When the ‘wild ones’ appeared it was as if there was an invisible force placed around His seed, an angelic force sent to protect it. Continue reading “Planted in Holy Ground”

Feet of Golden Threads

I saw golden threads coming down from heaven. Each was a mantle left unattached from those of the body of Christ who had gone to be with Him. A mantle is God’s covering of power and protection over the assignments He gives us. Some mantles are left, incomplete, when people go to be with Him. These may be loved ones or people we have known and greatly admired because of the ministries they had while on earth. The mantles they carried may well be the ones God is going to place on you. When Stephen was stoned, he forgave Saul and when he died that mantle he carried (both as a martyr mantle and a mantle of faith and boldness) was there for Paul to pick up and complete or hand on to the another. Elijah threw his mantle of prophet over Elisha. Elisha knew he was to receive the mantle but it didn’t mean that Elijah would die so he could receive it. Elisha would become a type of apprentice to Elijah until the fulness of time had come for Elijah to depart this world. The mantles we impart to others are our ceiling so that the recipient doesn’t start at the floor level where we started but instead starts at our ceiling. The recipients don’t have to go through all that their predecessor went through.
In the Body of Christ there are many mantles and gifts. Gifts are not mantles, as gifts are for the individual and will remain with them. Mantles are for the assignments individuals are given. God has given greater honour to the parts of the body that lack it so there be no division. When one part suffers, all suffers, when one part is honoured, every part rejoices with it. Raised up to count the Stars, Dust and Grains of sand

Days of walking along a dimly lit track or preaching to trees, is now complete. The full measure of God’s plan for your destiny has come. Time is short! Many, many will be your spiritual offspring. When Abraham tried to forge his own way of fulfilling God’s promise to Him, God reminded him of who He was by instructing him to go outside and count the stars. An impossible task but it opened Abraham’s eyes to the enormity, majesty and power of Almighty God. God had promised Abraham a son but he was to see countless offspring, so many they could not be counted, some would be kings. (Genesis 13:4)

Again God told Abraham to arise and count the dust. An almost impossible task, who can separate each particle and where do you begin? It can’t be done! Abraham had no idea of the offspring who were to come. (Genesis 12:15) For us he says, “The enormity of who I am, what I am doing and the spiritual offspring you will birth, you cannot count nor do you know.” Continue reading “Raised up to count the Stars, Dust and Grains of sand”
